With an ultra-thin profile — between 8 mm and 12 mm — LUMISOLAR VIG® achieves thermal performance superior to that of conventional triple glazing, with thermal transmittance (Ug) values in the region of 0.4 W/(m²K). Unlike conventional double glazing, where the gas (argon) or air still allows sound waves to propagate, an absolute vacuum is the ultimate acoustic insulator.
